Welcome to MoneyFlock! Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how we use it, and the measures we take to protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information:

• When you register for an account, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and payment information.
• If you choose to connect your brokerage accounts, we will collect information necessary to facilitate this connection, such as account credentials and financial data.

1.2 Non-Personal Information:

We collect non-personal information about your interactions with the platform, including IP addresses, browser types, device information, and usage data.

1.3 Cookies and Tracking Technologies:

We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on our platform. These technologies help us understand user behavior, personalize content, and improve our services.

1.4 Analytics and Consent:

MoneyFlock uses Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager to understand how users interact with the product. These tools collect usage data such as pages viewed, clicks, and feature engagement. They do not receive your name, email, phone number, financial account numbers, chat message content, or calculator input values.

We manage consent for analytics and advertising cookies using Google Consent Mode v2. On our public pages (such as articles and tools), analytics and advertising storage are off by default for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and they stay off; in other regions they are on by default. In the MoneyFlock app, analytics and advertising storage start off for everyone: if your device's time zone is in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our own cookie banner asks you, and these cookies stay off unless you accept or sign up (signing up turns them on unless you declined them in the banner); elsewhere, continuing to use the app or signing up turns them on. When ads are shown, visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's certified consent management platform. MoneyFlock does not show ads at present. Declining does not affect platform functionality, and you can opt out at any time using the advertising controls in Section 1.5 and the rights described in Section 4.

Functional and security cookies required to run the product (authentication, session, rate limiting) are always on and cannot be declined.

1.5 Advertising:

MoneyFlock does not currently display ads. If we display ads served through Google AdSense in the future, third-party vendors, including Google, will use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to MoneyFlock and to other websites, and Google's use of advertising cookies will enable it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

These advertising cookies are governed by the consent controls described in Section 1.4 (Google Consent Mode v2 and Google's certified consent message). In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, advertising storage stays off until you consent. You can learn how Google and its partners collect and use data when you use our site by reading How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third party's use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Provide and Improve Services:

• To operate, maintain, and improve the functionality of the MoneyFlock platform.
• To process transactions and send you related information, including purchase confirmations and invoices.
• To personalize your experience and provide content and recommendations based on your preferences.

2.2 Communication:

• To send you updates, newsletters, and marketing materials (you can opt out of these communications at any time).
• To respond to your comments, questions, and requests.

2.3 Security:

To protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

3.1 Third-Party Services:

We may share your information with third-party service providers who help us operate our platform, process payments, or provide customer support. These providers are obligated to protect your information.

3.2 Legal Requirements:

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring company.

You can access and update your personal information through your account settings.

4.2 Opt-Out:

You can opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the instructions in those communications or by contacting us directly.

4.3 Data Retention:

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We may also retain and use your information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

4.4 US State Privacy Rights (California and others):

If you are a resident of California or another US state with applicable privacy laws, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for personalized advertising. MoneyFlock does not sell your personal information for money. Where personalized advertising may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under these laws, we present a Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information choice through Google's US-states privacy message, and you can also opt out using Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info. You also have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 9.

4.5 EEA, UK, and Swiss Privacy Rights (GDPR):

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, MoneyFlock is the data controller for your personal information. We process it on the following legal bases: your consent (for analytics and advertising cookies), the performance of our contract with you (to provide the service you request), and our legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the platform). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9.

5. Security

5.1 Measures:

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

5.2 No Guarantee:

However, no internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error-free. Please take special care in deciding what information you send to us in this manner.

6. International Transfers

6.1 Consent:

By using our services, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, including the United States, which may have different data protection rules.

7. Children's Privacy

7.1 Not for Under 13:

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our files.

8. Public-record data (politicians and corporate insiders)

Our politician and corporate-insider pages publish information from public disclosure data: periodic transaction reports that members of the US Congress file under the STOCK Act (linked to the official filing or disclosure site where we have it, otherwise to the public House and Senate Stock Watcher datasets); election affidavits that Indian candidates file with the Election Commission of India, as published by MyNeta (ADR); Form 4 filings that US company insiders make with the SEC, published on EDGAR; and insider-trading disclosures filed with the National Stock Exchange of India under SEBI's Prohibition of Insider Trading Regulations and its Takeover Regulations.

What we include: the names, offices, roles, parties and districts that appear in these filings, and the reported trades and holdings (and, where a filing lists them, the names and holdings of family members). For politicians we add a profile photo and, for some US members, the party label, matched by name from Wikipedia where available; sector names come from our own market data.

What we exclude: we do not collect or display personal contact details such as email addresses, phone numbers or home addresses.

This is information that governments and regulators have lawfully made public. We do not collect it from the individuals listed, and they do not use our service to provide it.

Corrections and removal requests: write to contact@moneyflock.com with the page address and what should change. We review every request against the original filing, correct errors in our copy, and may suppress a profile where that is appropriate.

Retention: we keep this data for as long as the feature publishes these public filings.

US House trades are updated regularly. US Senate trades cover June 2012 to December 2020 only: the public source we use stopped updating, so senators' later trades are not shown.

Published free for the public's information and education. MoneyFlock is not a broker or investment adviser and has no access to non-public information. Do your own research before making any investment decision. MoneyFlock is not liable for decisions made using this data. Disclosures are filed after the trade (members of Congress have up to 45 days under the STOCK Act; Indian candidates' affidavits are periodic, at elections), so this data is always delayed. Insiders file after the trade (US: within 2 business days on SEC Form 4; India: under SEBI PIT timelines), so this data is always delayed. MoneyFlock is not affiliated with the US Congress, the SEC, the Election Commission of India, SEBI or NSE. Investments can lose value; past performance is not a guide to future results.

9.1 Updates:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.

9.2 Notification:

We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on our website and updating the effective date at the top of this page.
